Dave’s love for filmmaking started early. As a kid, he used his family’s old 90’s Panasonic camcorder to recreate his favorite scenes from Star Wars and other movies. But things became more serious in middle school at age 13, when he took a cinema class and discovered video editing.

Dave was born in Michigan but spent most of his life on the West Coast of the United States, living in Nevada and California. At 18, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue music, where he found himself working assistant jobs on commercial, film, and music video sets. During that time, he continued developing his videography and editing skills through personal projects, eventually turning those skills into a professional career.

For years, Dave had dreamed of living somewhere in Europe. After the pandemic, he decided it was finally time to make that dream a reality. While researching different options, he discovered Portugal’s D7 Visa program—and realized that moving to Portugal might actually be possible.

So he sold everything he owned in the United States and took the leap across the Atlantic.

Then he met a Portuguese girl who changed everything.
